Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, held a meeting in New York with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, Seyed Abbas Araghchi.

Saidov noted that Uzbekistan and Iran have significant potential for developing partnership relations, especially in the areas of transport connectivity, increasing trade turnover, and addressing regional and international issues.

During the meeting, current issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation were discussed, as well as problems related to regional security, stability, and progress.
