Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – As of 1 July 2024, Uzbekistan’s foreign exchange reserves amounted to US$36.34 billion, according to the Central Bank of Uzbekistan.
The regulator’s data indicates that in June, Uzbekistan’s foreign exchange reserves decreased by US$293.7 million.
As of the end of June 2024, the volume of foreign currency assets reached US$8.47 billion, which is US$796.9 million less compared to the beginning of June.
The volume of deposits of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan in central banks of other countries and the IMF decreased from US$422.7 million to US$422.4 million.
Uzbekistan’s gold reserves increased from US$26.81 billion to US$27.32 billion. The physical volume of gold in June increased from 11.4 million troy ounces to 11.7 million troy ounces.
