Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As of 1 June 2024, Uzbekistan’s foreign exchange reserves amounted to US$36.6 billion, according to the Central Bank of Uzbekistan.
The regulator’s data indicates that in May, Uzbekistan’s foreign exchange reserves increased by US$1.5 billion.
By the end of May 2024, the volume of foreign currency assets reached US$9.3 billion, which is US$1.3 billion more compared to the beginning of May.
The Central Bank of Uzbekistan’s deposits in other countries’ central banks and the IMF grew from US$416.4 million to US$422.7 million.
Uzbekistan’s gold reserves increased from US$26.53 billion to US$26.8 billion. The physical volume of gold in May decreased from 11.5 million troy ounces to 11.4 million troy ounces.
