Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Over the first nine months of 2024, Uzbekistan’s first-instance courts processed 2,195,439 cases and materials, according to the press service of the Supreme Court.
Specifically, during this period, 44,758 criminal cases and 97,195 materials related to criminal cases were reviewed.
In addition, courts resolved 449,984 administrative offense cases and 164,953 associated materials.
In the civil judiciary, 386,683 cases and 732,055 judicial orders were processed.
Economic courts handled 307,572 cases and issued 586 judicial orders over the reporting period.
Additionally, courts reviewed 11,330 administrative cases and 323 materials related to public-law relations.
A comparative analysis with the same period in 2023 reveals a 3.2% increase in criminal cases and a 5.7% rise in administrative offense cases. Civil cases and judicial orders surged by 55.7%, while economic cases grew by 41.4%.
However, the number of administrative cases involving public-law relations decreased by 3.4%.
