Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  From January to October 2024, enterprises in Uzbekistan produced 317,663 passenger cars, according to data from the Statistics Agency.

According to the information, in the reported period, UzAuto Motors produced 134,581 Chevrolet Cobalt cars, which is a 50.5% increase compared to the same period in 2023.

The production of Chevrolet Gentra amounted to 12,837 units (a decrease of 80.5%), while the production of Chevrolet Damas reached 80,541 units, an increase of 16.2%. Additionally, 35,283 Chevrolet Tracker cars were produced (a growth of 3.9%), and 29,094 Chevrolet Onix cars (an increase of 14.4%).

In Uzbekistan, 5,950 Chery cars were produced (a decrease of 30.7%), 17,054 Kia cars (an increase of 27.3%), 6 Lada cars, and 2,317 Haval cars.

Furthermore, 20,532 specialized passenger cars were manufactured, which is a 12.5% increase compared to last year.
