Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Between January and November 2024, Uzbekistan exported carpets worth US$21.8 million, according to the Uzbek Statistics Agency.

The total volume of exported products exceeded 7.32 million square meters.

The primary buyers of Uzbek carpets were neighboring countries. Azerbaijan led in import volume, purchasing 2.1 million square meters, followed by the Kyrgyz Republic with 1.99 million square meters, and Afghanistan with 1.22 million square meters.

Significant shipments were also made to Russia (989,000 square meters) and Kazakhstan (649,000 square meters). Exports to other countries amounted to 365,000 square meters.
