Uzbekistan’s Asaka Bank to raise charter capital by 15.6bn soums
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- State joint stock commercial bank Asaka (Asaka Bank) will increase charter capital by 15.6 billion soums (about US$950,900) to 315.6 billion soums (about US$192.375 million). The bank will increase charter capital through raising par value of shares from 50,000 soums to 52,600 soums.

The Center for coordination and control of functioning of securities market of Uzbekistan registered the prospectus of emission on 29 December 2010.

Within the emission, Asaka Bank will emit 6 million shares with par value of 52,600 soums each. Total volume of shares’ emission will make up 315.6 billion soums.

The shares will be placed on closed subscription among shareholders of Asaka Bank on par value. The shares will be placed through replacing old shares with nominal value of 50,000 soums to new ones with par value of 52,600 soums.

The bank said that the difference in nominal value will be paid due to part of net income of the Asaka Bank for nine months of 2010 at the size of 15.6 billion soums.
