Uzbekistan’s apple exports surge 2.7 times in first quarter of 2025
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In the first three months of 2025, Uzbekistan exported 2,848.1 tonnes of apples worth a total of US$1.7 million, according to data from the National Statistics Committee.
This marks a significant increase compared to the same period in 2024, with export volumes rising by 1,784.6 tonnes — 2.7 times more than last year’s figure for January–March.
The largest volume of Uzbek apples was exported to Russia, totaling 1,902.7 tonnes.
Kazakhstan ranked second with 707.9 tonnes, followed by Turkmenistan (148.6 tonnes), Mongolia (52.8 tonnes), and Kyrgyzstan (35 tonnes).
