Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In connection with the celebration of Eid Al-Fitr, citizens of Uzbekistan will rest for four days.
The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree amending the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from 23 December 2022 “On the establishment of additional non-working days during the celebration of official dates and the postponement of days off in 2023”.
According to the document, Monday, 24 April is declared a day off.
Thus, the citizens of Uzbekistan will rest for four days in a row – on 21, 22, 23 and 24 April.
The first day of Eid al-Fitr in Uzbekistan falls on Friday, 21 April, according to the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan.
