Uzbekistan wins maiden license to Olympic Games in modern pentathlon

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Preparations for the Tokyo Olympic Games in our country are taking place with memorable events. The government pays special attention to our athletes getting more tickets to licensed competitions. All sports are developing at high speed, according to the NOC.

Currently, the licensing championship of Asia-Oceania in modern pentathlon is being held in Wuhan (China). It is noteworthy that for the first time in the history of Uzbek sports, our representative Alise Fakhrutdinova was awarded a license for the Summer Olympic Games. In these competitions, our team entered the first three of the most powerful countries on the continent and, thanks to this, was awarded one license.

Until recently, modern pentathlon was not widely developed in Uzbekistan, athletes did not even have a base for training. But, thanks to the attention paid to the development of sports by our government, as well as the efforts of the current leadership of the federation, this sport began to develop widely, athletes began to successfully compete in international competitions.
