During the consultations, which considered wide-range of issues, Ukrainian Deputy Foreign Minister Victor Mayko stated that it is important to keep all developed relations and traditions for mutual beneficial partnership.
The sides discussed issues of inter-state contacts in high and other levels, the ministry said in the statement.
It was said that priority direction of bilateral cooperation is trade-economic relations and the joint intergovernmental commission on cooperation should play important role.
Diplomats from Uzbekistan and Ukraine underlined importance of the consultations between foreign ministries to develop bilateral relations, discuss current and perspectives of further development and implementation of agreements.
