Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Minister of Agriculture of Uzbekistan Aziz Voitov held talks with Andrey Dnibri, director of the food sector of the United Arab Emirates company for the production and export of consumer goods IFFCO GROUP. The parties discussed cooperation in the development of markets for confectionery and sour-milk products, as well as tomato paste and fruit jams.

Andrey Dnibri began the talks with a presentation of IFFCO GROUP, which was founded in 1975 and operates in the United Arab Emirates. The company is part of ALLANA GROUP, one of the largest manufacturers and retailers of processed food and agricultural products. The main directions of the IFFCO GROUP company are the production of food products, chemical and perfumery products, logistics, trade and packaging services. The company has 95 enterprises and representative offices in 48 countries, employing 12,000 people. IFFCO GROUP represents more than 80 brands on 5 continents of the world, and also has its own sales market in 101 countries of the world.

In turn, Aziz Voitov noted that now a favorable investment climate is being created in Uzbekistan, which opens up new prospects for working with such large foreign enterprises as IFFCO GROUP.

“Your company has a long history and has long been present in the markets of many countries around the world. Today, everyone knows the obvious advantages of growing Asian markets. We are glad that your company is showing interest in the economy of Uzbekistan and, first of all, in the agri-food sector,” said Aziz Voitov.

During the discussion, the parties expressed their readiness to jointly develop the market for such products as tomato paste, fruit jams, raw materials and semi-finished products for confectionery and fermented milk products, and also agreed to create a roadmap with the stages of implementation of joint projects.
