Uzbekistan Football Federation will announce a new head coach in due course, the statement of the federation reads.
At the same time, Navbahor player Tohir Shamsiddinov has been barred from playing for Uzbekistan national team and banned from all football related activities for a year for his violent conduct to Korean player during King’s Cup tournament in Thailand.
Uzbekistan national teams’ manager Askar Talipdjanov and Technical Director Rustam Akramov were rebuked for the unsportsmanlike conduct of the players, which drew much criticism from international media.
The federation also put a task to the Uzbekistan Professional Football League to meet officials of all football club and inform that they should pay attention of spiritual, psychological and physical preparation of the players.
There will be no further comment from Uzbekistan Football Federation at this stage, the statement concluded.
