Uzbekistan U-17 suffers 3-0 defeat at hand of Argentina

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan U-17 suffered a 3-0 defeat at the hand of Argentina in the final match of the international tournament in Marbella, Spain, Uzbekistan Football Federation said.

Argentina opened the score on 16 minutes. Referee showed the red card to the Uzbek player on 68 minutes. Argentinian side netted two more goals on 78 and 90 minutes to clinch the victory.

As reported earlier, Dilshor Nuraliev side played a goalless draw with Côte d’Ivoire and lost to Mexico with the score 2-0.

Uzbekistan U-17 will play at the FIFA U-17 World Championship from 18 October to 8 November 2013 in the UAE. Uzbekistan is in Group C with Panama, Morocco and Croatia.
