Uzbekistan coach Alexei Estafeev fielded strong side in the first match and claimed 3-1 victory of Azerbaijan team.

In the second match, Estafeev gave chance to reserve players, which badly affected performance of the Uzbek team. After first 30 minutes, Uzbekistan conceded two goals.

After that, Uzbek coach made changes in squad and this immediately started to give its fruits. Uzbekistan equalized the score and scored five more goals to ensure 7-2 victory.
