Uzbekistan U-16 to play qualification matches in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Matches of Group C of the Asian U-16 Championship qualification round will be shifted from Qarshi to Tashkent in line with the decision of the AFC. The matches will be held in October, not in September as earlier planned.
Group C includes Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Bahrain, Kyrgyzstan and India. Two top teams in group will qualify to final stage of the Asian U-16 Championship.
Earlier it was planned that matches of the group will be held in Qarshi on 12-24 September 2011. But AFC adopted decision to move matches to Tashkent.
The decision is connected with ongoing preparations to 2012 Women U-20 World Championship, which will be held in Uzbekistan.
