President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution “On measures on ensuring speedy development of internal tourism”.

According to the resolution, the Uzbekistan Tourism Industry Awards will be awarded in such categories as the Best Hotel (by category), the Best Guest House, the Best Yurt Camp, the Best Tour Operator and the Best Guide (in the directions), the Best Transport Organization and the Best Catering Point, etc.

Also the winners will be determined in the nomination as the Best blogger and the Best journalist.

The State Committee for Tourism also received the right to grant no-string financial assistance (grants) to media representatives, bloggers, photographers, researchers involved for the coverage of events and propaganda of domestic tourism.

Annually, up to 1 billion soums will be allocated for these purposes. At the same time, one publication can receive up to 50 million soums, while bloggers, photographers, researchers - up to 20 million soums.
