President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev approved the investment programme of the country for 2017 with his resolution in the end of December 2016.

Uzbekistan is planning to use foreign invetsments on 199 projects with total volume of US$4.505 billion.

At the same time, Uzbekistan is planning to use US$1.854 billion of foreign credits under the guarantee of the Government on 79 projects and US$2.65 billion of foreign direct investments on 120 projects.

About US$2.47 billion of foreign investments will be used within 37 projects in fuel-energy sector in 2017. The foreign companies will invest US$1.97 billion to implementation of 20 projects in oil and gas industry.
