Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A "German Medical Academic Center for Nurses" will be established in Tashkent.
This is outlined in an agreement signed in Samarkand between Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction and the German company Globogate Concept AG.
The Ministry noted that previously, citizens wishing to work in Germany’s healthcare sector spent 6 to 8 months on adaptation after arriving in the country.
The new project will change this: professional and language training will take place directly in Uzbekistan.
Sang Woo Pai, CEO of Globogate Concept AG, announced that, in collaboration with the University Clinic of Aachen, the second-largest university medical clinic in Europe, the "German Medical Academic Center" will be established at the First Republican Medical College named after Abu Ali ibn Sino in Tashkent.
"The training, which will include both professional and language components, will last one year. Importantly, graduates will receive not only a diploma but also a professional certificate granting them the right to work in Germany," he said.
The agreement also stipulates that the rights of citizens will be protected in accordance with the laws of both countries.
