Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Uzbekistan national team led by coach of Mirjalol Kasimov called 25-player squad to prepare for next year matches in 2011 Asian Cup qualifiers and 2010 FIFA World Cup.
The squad will head to Israel, where it will hold three friendly matches. The training will be held on 18-29 December.
Kasimov called six players from Bunyodkor, six from Pakhtakor, three from Mashal and Samarkand Dinamo, two from Neftchi and Andijan, one from Navbakhor, Nasaf, Metallurg and Uz Dong-Ju, last relegated from Premier League of Uzbekistan to the First Division. Davron Mirzaev of Russia’s Rubin, will be the only player, playing abroad.
The team will also visit Turkey after New Year. It is planned that Uzbek team will hold training camp in Turkey on 3-17 January and head to the UAE on 28 January to face local team within the 2011 Asian Cup qualifiers.
