Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of Uzbekistan consisting of deputy khokims, entrepreneurs and business circles of Khorezm, Surkhandarya, Tashkent, Ferghana regions and Karakalpakstan visited the Siberian Federal District of Russia (SFD) in August.

During the visits, members of the delegation of Uzbekistan met with the heads of wholesale centers, large chain hypermarkets in Altai, Krasnoyarsk territories, Novosibirsk, Tomsk regions and official organizations dealing with trade and economic issues with foreign partners.

As part of the negotiations, representatives of the regions signed agreements on the export of about 200,000 tons of agricultural products to the territory of the Siberian Federal District.

At the same time, Uzbek entrepreneurs got acquainted with the conditions created for exporters at Rusagromarket in Novosibirsk, Asia-Siberia and the Trade and Logistics Center in Krasnoyarsk and discussed the issue of direct import of their products.
