Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 1 April, Uzbekistan intends to issue IT visas for investors, founders of IT companies and specialists in the field of information technology, as well as members of their families. Individuals will be able to obtain visas for three years.

An IT visa will allow you to freely enter and leave Uzbekistan for three years, stay in any region of the republic without the obligation to re-register, receive education and medical services on the conditions provided for citizens of Uzbekistan.

The following tax benefits and preferences are provided for IT Park residents: full exemption from all types of taxes; exemption from customs duties, income tax rate of 7.5%; tax on dividends 5%. It is possible to obtain a virtual office, pay dividends in foreign currency; payment of wages in foreign currency; work permit for foreigners is not required.

It is also stated that IT Park will assist in registering a legal entity, opening a bank account, registering with the tax authorities, finding specialists, finding and renting an office. IT-specialists will be helped in employment, obtaining medical insurance, finding housing, opening a bank account, paperwork.

Consideration of an application for an IT visa will take no more than three working days. For family members of IT visa holders, a visitor visa will be issued.
