Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting was held at the Uzcharmsanoat Association with the director of the Spanish company XGE, Jose Luis Marsilo. At the meeting, the issue of exporting finished leather produced in our country to Spain was discussed.

The head of the Spanish company, Jose Luis Marsilo, noted that the leather and footwear and fur industry of Uzbekistan is rapidly developing, and products manufactured in our country have already entered the EU market. He announced his initiatives to establish cooperation with entrepreneurs from Uzbekistan and to bring finished leather to the Spanish market.

The management of the Association offered the Spanish company cooperation in two directions. The first is the implementation of export-import operations with enterprises producing finished leather, and the second is the production of finished products in our country on the basis of outsourcing and franchising together with Spanish brands.

The head of the XGE company expressed readiness for cooperation in both directions. To start joint work, he proposed to hold bilateral negotiations with local enterprises.

Representatives of the Spanish company will get acquainted with the products and production processes of such enterprises as: Peng Sheng, Orient Tehnology, Nafis Charm, Hamkor Nur Savdo. After the product samples are examined according to Spanish standards, leather from the selected manufacturer will be exported to this country.

The meeting also saw an exchange of views on other areas of bilateral cooperation.
