Uzbekistan announced a tender to sell 57.67% share in Jizzakhplastmassa joint stock company, producer of polyethylene film, polyethylene tubing and plastic consumer goods.

The tender announcement said 51,276 shares of Jizzakhplastmassa are offered to investors. Starting bidding price for the said shares is not less than US$3.63 million.

The investors also should undertake investment obligations for at least US$5 million. At that, the preference will be given to the company ready to offer the highest bid for the 57.67% of shares of the Company and undertake the highest volume of investment obligations.

Jizzakhplastmassa is the large-scale enterprise of chemical industry of Uzbekistan, which produces polyethylene film, polyethylene tubing and plastic consumer goods.

The Bid submission deadline expires on 22 May 2007.
