Vadim Abramov’s side will face Kuwait in an away match on 17 January 2012, the Uzbekistan Football Federation said.

After that Uzbekistan national team will play against Thailand on 24 February 2012. The match will be held in Thailand.

These matches will be part of preparation process to the match against Japan, which will be held within the third qualification round of the FIFA 2014 World Cup. The match against Japan will be held in the end of February 2012.

Uzbekistan is currently tops Group C with 13 points, while Japan has 10 points.
