Uzbekistan to organize investment conference in Japan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
The Government of Uzbekistan will hold an investment conference in Tokyo on 22 April and propose new industrial opportunities to Japanese companies.
The organizers expect that representatives from over 300 Japanese companies will participate at the conference. Officials of Uzbekistan will present economic and industrial potential of Uzbekistan and opportunities in the free industrial economic zone (FIEZ) Navoi.
Within the conference, the organizers will hold four thematic roundtables to discuss cooperation in such industries as automotive, electronics, textiles, food and tourism.
It is expected that the companies from Uzbekistan and Japan will sign documents on establishment of new industrial plants in FIEZ Navoi.
