Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 1 July, restrictions on the export of poultry meat will be lifted in Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Justice reports.
This decision was made in accordance with the resolution of the President of the Republic “On measures to further support the poultry industry, the introduction of modern genetic technologies and a system of cooperation.”
According to the decision, the Agro-Poultry Cluster project will be implemented based on the cooperation system.
Until 1 January 2030, business entities producing poultry products will be exempt from paying land tax (except for arable land) levied on legal entities.
From 1 October, the customs duty exemption for the import of fresh, chilled and frozen poultry meat, as well as “additional food products,” including legs, minced meat and wings, will be abolished.
