The draft State Program for 2018 “Year of active entrepreneurship, innovative ideas and technologies” was published on 2018.strategy.uz website for discussion. The document said that by 1 May 2018, a draft presidential decree on creation of an investment portal will be prepared.

The Internet portal will provide statistics and information on the created conditions for business in Uzbekistan.

According to the draft state program, the portal will be created through loans, grants and sponsorship of international and foreign financial institutions.

The investment portal will start functioning starting from 1 July 2018. The portal will provide information on benefits and preferences, infrastructure, public facilities, services for investors, etc.

The new portal will provide interactive services for local and foreign investors.
