Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The project "Travel for all!" will be launched in Uzbekistan in order to organize trips around the republic for persons with disabilities.
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution "On additional measures to accelerate the development of the tourism potential of the republic, as well as further increase the number of local and foreign tourists."
The head of Uzbekistan approved the proposal of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism on the implementation of the project "Travel for all!" in order to organize trips around the republic for persons with disabilities.
Within the framework of this project, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism was instructed to organize travel for 500 people with disabilities, as well as to develop a program for the training of 100 sign language guides in Khorezm, Bukhara and Samarkand regions at the initial stage.
The costs associated with the implementation of the project are covered by the Tourism Support Fund under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
