Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan plans to join the International Islamic Trade and Finance Corporation and the Islamic Corporation for the Insurance of Investments and Export Projects.

On 23 May 2019, the government of Uzbekistan issued a decree “On measures to further develop cooperation with the Islamic Development Bank Group and the funds of the Arab Coordination Group”.

According to the document, Uzbekistan plans to complete domestic procedures for the country’s accession to the International Islamic Trade and Finance Corporation and the Islamic Corporation for the Insurance of Investments and Export Projects.
