Uzbekistan to join the FTA agreement in the CIS

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- During a meeting of Heads of Governments of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), which took place in Ashgabat on 30 May, discussed the joining of Uzbekistan to the free trade agreement within the CIS framework. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said in Turkmenistan.

"Today the issue of joining of Uzbekistan to the free trade zone has been discussed. A decision to support such a proposal has been made at the CIS Heads of Governments meeting," Ukrainian Prime Minister said.

Ukrainian Prime Minister said that this is important decision as Uzbekistan is a market with a 30 million people.
