According to the document, the excise tax for gold jewelry, realized at retail trade networks, is introduced from 1 January 2012 at the size of US$10 per 1 gram of jewelry.

The government also provided right to retail enterprises to deduct excise tax, paid by them on purchase of gold jewelry at existence of approving document.

Jewelry is also included to list of goods, which levied with excise tax. Tax rate for 2012 is 25% to the cost of the good without excise tax and VAT.
