Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- This year, Uzbekistan plans to import more than 1 million tons of oil and petroleum products. This was announced by the Minister of Energy of Uzbekistan Jurabek Mirzamakhmudov within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Forum.

He noted that this amount exceeds the volume of imports of oil and petroleum products in the previous year.

The minister emphasized that further growth in imports of oil and petroleum products is planned in 2024 due to the growth of the country's economy.

He also noted that there is no shortage of gasoline in Uzbekistan, since gasoline supplies from Russia are carried out in accordance with the intergovernmental agreement.
