Uzbekistan to hold training camp in UAE

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan national team will hold training camp in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) starting from 20 January 2013 to prepare to matches of the AFC Cup 2015 and 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification rounds, Uzbekistan Football Federation said.

Mirjalol Kasimov’s side will hold training camp in the UAE from 20 January to 1 February 2013. It is planned to hold a friendly match against one of European national teams. Uzbekistan will return to Tashkent and hold another camp from 2 to 5 February.

On 6 February, Uzbekistan will kick off its AFC Cup 2015 qualification campaign. Uzbekistan will face Hong Kong in Group E.

Uzbekistan will face against Lebanon on 26 March 2013 and Qatar on 18 June 2013 within the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers at Bunyodkor stadium.
