Uzbekistan to hold training camp in Turkey
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- National team of Uzbekistan will hold a training camp in Turkey from 17 to 23 July to prepare for the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches against China and South Korea.

Uzbekistan head coach Samvel Babayan invited 20 players to the training camp in Turkey. Babayan could not attract foreign players as the training camp is organized in non-FIFA days.

Uzbekistan head coach also could not attract Marat Bikmaev, Islam Tukhtakhodjaev, Doston Hamdamov, Rustam Ashurmatov and Jamshid Iskanderov due to injuries.

Uzbekistan squads

Goalkeepers: Alexander Lobanov, Ignatiy Nesterov;

Defenders: Alexander Merzlyakov, Davron Khashimov, Farrukh Sayfiev, Sherzod Agzamov, Murad Khalmukhammedov, Akmal Shorakhmedov, Vladimir Kozak;

Midfielders: Sukhrob Berdyev, Salamat Kutibayev, Davron Umirov, Atabek Shukurov, Jaloliddin Masharipov, Murad Tashmatov, Sardor Mirzaev, Bahrom Abdurahimov, Erkin Baidullayev;

Forwards: Igor Sergeev, Shakhruz Narkhanov.

Uzbekistan national team will face China on 31 August and South Korea on 5 September within the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
