The festival will be kicked off with exhibition dedicated to the Year of Well-Being and Prosperity. Works of fine arts will be presented at the exhibition. Besides, it is planned to hold personal exhibitions of painters from all regions of Uzbekistan, UzA reported.
Tashkent Photography House, Memorial park-museum named after Kamoliddin Behzod, International cultural caravan-saray, Uzbekistan Fine Art Gallery will host several exhibitions and presentations.
Within the festival, it is planned to hold several exhibitions of students of colleges, universities and institutes on such directions as fine arts, national costume, etc. Uzbekistan Art Academy will also present books, catalogues, and publications and hold meetings with painters.
The conference “Traditions and contemporaneity in art of Uzbekistan” will discuss development of art in Uzbekistan during independence years. The event will be attended by painters, photographers, designers, etc. It is also planned to hold exhibitions of sculptors, theatric decorations, miniatures, calligraphy, fine, theatric and cinema arts.
The organizer said that the festival will include national music, poetry and music nights. All exhibition halls will also demonstrate films dedicated to works of painters, sculptors, craftsmen and others.
