President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution “On measures for development of inbound tourism”.

Uzbek President agreed with the proposal to set up the Department for Support of Pilgrimage Tourism in the structure of the Committee for Religious Affairs under the Cabinet of Ministers.

The new department will implement measures to promote and disseminate information materials about Uzbekistan as a cultural, historical and scientific and theological center of Islam and other world religions in the mass media, including foreign ones.
