Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyayev signed a resolution on further improvement of transaction at e-commerce in June.

The resolution of Cabinet of Ministers "On measures on further improvement of transaction at electronic commerce" approved an action plan on further improvement of electronic transactions in 2007-2008.

The document entrusted Uzbek state bodies to ensure implementation of action plan fully and in time.

The action plan envisages adoption of electronic payment systems in Uzbek currency – soum – and creation of security mechanisms, adoption of standards and requirements to e-payment, salvation of taxation issues and others.
