New school is created in line with the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan “On creation of Republican specialized children-youth sport school of Olympic reserve on rowing sports”.

The document was adopted for further development of sporting potential of Olympic reserves, organization of training of national teams on rowing sports, active attraction of gifted children to sports, etc.

Republican specialized children-youth sport school of Olympic reserve on rowing sports under the Ministry of Culture and Sport of Uzbekistan will be created in Samarkand region based on children-youth sport school on rowing sports under Department of culture and sport affairs of Samarkand region.

The school will be off-school sport-educational establishment and it will conduct its activities in line with the regulation on sport schools in Uzbekistan, financed by the state budget.

The activity of the school will be directed at training highly skilled athletes in rowing and canoe to represent Uzbekistan.

Gifted children, who undergo preliminary training in sporting schools and clubs, can enrol to the school on competitive bases. The academic year will start on 2 September. The curriculum is determined by the administration of the school based on schedule of tournaments.

The activities of the school will be financed due to state budget resources of Uzbekistan, resources from rendered services, sponsors funds, and other sources, which are not banned by legislation.
