Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan plans to create a single electronic system of ticket operations in cultural and art institutions, using blocking technology.
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution “On measures for innovative development of the sphere of culture and art in the Republic of Uzbekistan”.
The document approved the procedure for introduction of the single electronic system of ticket operations in cultural and art institutions, using blocking technology.
The resolution was adopted in order to ensure innovative development of the sphere of culture and art, improve the material and technical base of cultural and art institutions, stimulate the interest of the population to visit them, and integrate the country into the world cultural space.
Uzbek leader instructed in two months to submit to the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan a draft government decision on implementation of the single electronic system in cultural and art institutions using the technology of blockade (EESBO) and determining the procedure for its operation.
Also, the draft government decision will include measures on use of automatic systems for the sale, registration and verification of tickets connected to the EESBO, cultural and art institutions of Uzbekistan.
The President instructed to create legal basis for free issue and sale of electronic tickets using ticket machines and autonomous printing devices, including legal entities distributing tickets on the basis of intermediary contracts.
The head of state instructed to introduce minimum requirements to the requisites of electronic tickets, as well as the material and technical base of cultural and art institutions used for issuing, recording transactions and verifying electronic tickets.
As part of implementation of the EESBO, minimum requirements will be introduced to protect transactions on the sale of tickets from mass purchase of tickets with a view to their further resale at a higher price.
