Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A resolution of the President "On measures to improve the system of keeping records of the production, processing and sale of natural gas and liquid hydrocarbons" was adopted.

According to the Resolution, by 1 July 2023, electronic online meters will be installed at all points of reception and transmission of natural gas.

These meters will be integrated with the information systems of the tax authorities, and a unified automated system for the movement of natural gas will be introduced.

From 1 October 2023, the installation of chromatographs and electronic metering devices at the points of reception and transmission of natural gas by enterprises providing services for the transportation of natural gas through pipes through the territory of Uzbekistan is mandatory.

Until 1 July 2023, an information system will be introduced in order to enter the necessary information about contracts for the sale of natural gas and liquid hydrocarbons.

From 1 October 2023:

- information on contracts for the sale of natural gas and liquid hydrocarbons is entered into the information system of the Tax Committee;

- electronic invoices under these agreements are formed on the basis of information entered into the information system of the Tax Committee under these agreements.
