Uzbekistan tests Humo token

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A new digital asset, the Humo token, secured by government bonds, is currently being tested in Uzbekistan. This was reported by the press service of the Humo payment system.

The key feature of the Humo token is its linkage to the national currency. Fully backed by government debt securities, it is resistant to speculative fluctuations and ensures price stability.

The project is being implemented in full compliance with Uzbekistan's current legislation in the field of crypto assets. Several strategic partners are involved in its development, including the Humo payment system, which serves over 35 million cardholders across the country.

Thanks to Humo's wide integration with commercial banks, marketplaces, and retail structures, conditions are being created for the mass adoption of the token in everyday transactions. The project's technical foundation is provided by the companies Asterium and Broxus.

The technological foundation of the project will be the Tycho blockchain protocol, developed by Broxus. It is distinguished by its high transaction speed and low transaction costs, which is especially relevant for large-scale national projects.

Among the advantages of the new token are transparency, high transaction speed, and reduced operational costs. The token operates on a public blockchain, where all transactions are openly recorded.

According to Alexey Maximov, Chairman of the Humo payment system, the launch of the token will increase citizens' trust in the financial system, simplify payments, and minimize the risks of fraud.

Komilkhuzha Sultonov, CEO of Asterium, described the initiative as a foundation for building a new financial ecosystem, where modern technologies become an integral part of everyday life.

Sergey Shashev, founder of Broxus, emphasized the reliability and security of the solutions used within the Tycho protocol, noting their compliance with international standards.
