Gazeta.uz reported that the project cost is US$15 million. The project will help to increase capacity of the yard up to 5,000 wagons a day and will improve mobility of railway network and create conditions for further infrastructure development at the station.
Within the project, Uzbekistan Temir Yollari plans to automatize hump yard, which will be able to work in two modes – automatic and route control.
Uzbekistan Temir Yollari is planning to finance the project due to own resources.
