Uzbekistan Temir Yollari receives state assets in four enterprises
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Uzbekistan Temir Yollari (Uzbekistan Railways) state joint-stock company will receive state assets in four enterprises to its charter capital in line with the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers from 28 October.
The document was adopted in order to develop and modernize railway industry of Uzbekistan further, and implement measures, envisaged in resolution of the Uzbek President from 18 March 2009 “About Complex programme on development and modernization of railway industry for 2009-2013”.
Uzbekistan Temir Yollari will get 39% share in Uztemiryulkonteyner, Uzvagontamir and Tashkent Yulovchi Vagonlarni Tamirlash Zavodi and the company’s total share will reach 90%.
The Uzbek railway will receive 47% stake of the government in Uztemiryulyulovchi to raise its share to 98%.
