Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - On 22 January, an exhibition of the congresses, meetings and events industry ACE of MICE Exhibition by Turkish Airlines (AME 2020) began in Istanbul, in which the delegation of Uzbekistan takes part for the first time.

Tourism opportunities, including the potential of Uzbekistan’s MICE tourism, are presented by a single Uzbekistan national stand, which is jointly attended by representatives of the Center for Congresses and Exhibitions of Uzbekistan State Unitary Enterprise, the Congress Hall at the Hilton Tashkent City Hotel and the Tourism Department at the Hokimiyat of Tashkent.

Since 2014, ACE of MICE Exhibition by Turkish Airlines has been held at one of the largest congress centers, the Istanbul Congress Center, and is aimed at assisting in the development and implementation of innovative proposals in the international MICE industry. At the opening ceremony of the exhibition, the Deputy Minister of Tourism and Culture of the Republic of Turkey - Ozgul Ozkan Yavuz, the Head of the Turkish Association of Travel Agencies (TURSAB) - Firuz Baglykaya, the director of the Congress Center of Istanbul - Pervin Zeydanli and others made a welcoming speech.

For Uzbekistan, participation in the exhibition in ACE of MICE 2020 is an opportunity to present the potential of the republic’s MICE tourism to the world community, to demonstrate the region’s ability to host large-scale events of international scale.

During the three days of the ACE of MICE 2020 exhibition, presentations of the development of the congress and exhibition direction and tourist opportunities of Uzbekistan will be held at the stand of Uzbekistan, visitors will be able to get information about the main festivals, exhibitions, cultural, sports and gastronomic events held in Uzbekistan.
