Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan ranks 70th place among 96 countries in the world ranking of the Passport Index, compiled by the Canadian Consulting company Arton Capital.

The rating evaluates the power of the passport based on how many countries the owners can visit without a visa or with the possibility of receiving a visa upon arrival.

Citizens of Uzbekistan have the opportunity to visit 24 countries without a visa, in 45 countries they can receive a visa upon arrival, and four countries require electronic permission to enter.

A regular visa is needed to visit 125 countries. Thus, the Uzbek passport rose to one position, occupying the 70th place among the countries of the world, with the possibility of visiting 73 countries.

At the same time, in the rating of Visaguide.world, the passport of Uzbekistan took 128th place from 199 countries.

The best result in this ranking among the countries of Central Asia showed Kazakhstan, occupying the 110th place, Kyrgyzstan-on the 131st, Tajikistan-in the 139th, and Turkmenistan in 166th place.
