Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 4 January 2024, Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Rakhmatulla Nurimbetov held negotiations with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan Abdujabbor Rakhmonzoda.

During the conversation, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for the further development of Uzbekistan-Tajikistan relations of good-neighborliness, strategic partnership and alliance.

They noted positive dynamics of interaction between the two countries in political, trade and economic, transport and communications, cultural, humanitarian and other spheres.

The sides also reviewed the schedule and various aspects of events at the high-levels planned for 2024.
