Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Experts from the international organization ICAO conducted a comprehensive audit to assess the operation of the flight safety system in Uzbekistan and issued a positive conclusion.

As part of a scheduled audit from 17 to 29 May, the ICAO audit team conducted a scheduled check of the state of flight safety, as well as compliance with the requirements of the standards by the Ministry of Transport, the Uzaviatsia Agency, Uzhydromet, the Uzaeronavigatsia Center, Uzbekistan Airways JSC, LLC "Panorama Airways", Training Center of JSC "Uzbekistan Airways" and LLC "Tashkent International Airport named after I. Karimov".

Based on the results of the audit in the civil aviation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, no non-compliances related to the category of significant concern in the field of flight safety (SSC) were identified.

The overall performance indicator for the implementation of ICAO standards in Uzbekistan is tentatively 64%, which is a good indicator compared to other states that have undergone a full audit.

This audit is one of the most important objective means of assessing the organization of the flight safety system in the field of civil aviation.

The final audit report will be submitted by 15 November 2023 and posted on the ICAO official website.
