Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — At the Asian Weightlifting Championship for juniors and youth in Qatar, Uzbek athlete Omadillo Olimov became the overall champion in the +102 kg weight category among juniors, winning three gold medals (snatch, clean and jerk, total).

He also claimed three bronze medals in the youth category.

Overall, Uzbekistan’s junior and youth weightlifting teams concluded the championship with an impressive result — 44 medals (17 gold, 17 silver, and 10 bronze).
