Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Umid Shadiev, Chairman of the Tourism Committee of Uzbekistan, held a meeting with Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne, a member of the French Senate, during a working visit to Paris.

Lemoyne previously served as Secretary of State for Tourism, French Nationals Abroad, and Francophonie until 2022, making significant contributions to the development of bilateral relations.

During the meeting, Lemoyne expressed his readiness to further expand cooperation between Uzbekistan and France in the tourism sector. Specifically, with the senator’s support, an agreement was reached to exchange best practices in tourism development between the two countries and to study French legislation and regulatory documents in the field.
